YAYAPOPS!

I have a sudden craving for sushi. I have no idea why, maybe because I am actually hungry. Yes, I am hungry. The last meal I had was about 1130 this morning and it was only tofu. I didn't eat much for lunch because a friend bought for me bread. Hahah I wonder what made him bought the bread for me. Thanks K!! Every Monday buat like that yea... buy bread for hungry Alyaa. So yea sushi, I think I'm going for sushi next week since I'll be having my mid semester break!! Yaye... mid-semester break. Time to rejuvenate and all but I doubt it'll happen since I have assignments to do.

I might be having Indian food for dinner. Argh... I so want Nasi Beriyani! :) See how hungry I am!

Today had a mock interview with Dr. Grace, our English lecturer. I think I answered the interviewers questions really well. I think mumble or anything but I think I gave quite short answers. Oh well, I hope I do well for that. And earlier I had my cost accounting test. It was confusing as I didn't expect the question to be like that. I did study and I did understand what was required. So I guess I am safe. :)

Ohh this afternoon right after OB, a friend showed me a video of his daughter. She somewhat looks like me, I think it's the hair. He even said, "She is like you!" Attitude wise and everything because I heard she is pemarah! I still love her though!! A very cute little girl :) Arh too bad I don't have any pictures of her. I will one day when I see her again!

I have a presentation tomorrow and we're having breakfast at CA Mohamad! This should be interesting :)

know I did but I'll only post up some pictures from last week's dinner. It was an all girls dinner to celebrate the twins and Ka Salimah's birthday. It was my first time at Matadoe and I must say the food is quite good :) I had chicken pie with potato salad. Yes, I'm watching what I eat now. Don't ask why??




I have a test tomorrow and I'm only 60% prepared! Erm... I should get back studying :)

I think last week was a week filled with so much fun and laughter. Starting from Study@UBD, Amie's Chinese New Year celebration and of course the dinner hosted by the twins and Ka Salima at Matadoe.

As promised.. here are some pictures from Amie's place last Friday night. Very exciting as it was my first time seeing a real lion dance. You know from the start till the end. I even got 25 cents :) No, no, the angpao wasn't 25 cents... hahah :)

So that was what basically happened during the two day Study@UBD exhibition held at the Chancellor Hall. It was total fun. It was a great opportunity for me to meet different people and work with different people. I've made new friends and got closer to few of my other friends. I did mention about the tower we build well that's the tower in the first photo. Pretty cool huh? well Shai came up with the idea and we made it. :) I'm so proud of our tower. I'm not sure where they're going to it now though.

Woah I just watched the finale of The Amazing Race Asia. Actually I don't mind which team will win but I think it was a plus point for the winning team since they won it in Singapore. So yea I guess you can guess which team won. It's Colin and Adrian. I'm so proud of them. And yes I almost cried watching the finale. It was just so touching to see them win the race. Since one of them is disabled or something.

so yea today heard a very horrible news well more read the horrible news. Walked into the office and read on the board that one of the committee member's father got admitted into the hospital. My heart kind of went really weird because I've been in that situation. I know how it must felt for him and his family. So I texted him and I just hope that from what I send him, he'd feel much better. :) I hope your father recovers fast. There is always a 'hikmah' behind any struggles. And mine was that it brought our family together. =)

So yea Study@UBD will be on this weekend. Do come and visit the FBEPS booth. I will assure you the place will look fabulous as we had put our blood and sweat into decorating it. If you want to know how the place looks like how do to go the FBEPS site! Yes our faculty has its own blog and all. :) Arh I love working with these people. No matter in what year we are, we are a family. We can mingle with each other and work together. So I guess the leadership course we had with Mas did work wonders.

Oh what leadership course you ask? Well on Wednesday we had a leadership course conducted by Mr. President himself. He asked us a series of questions and it will eventually give us a colour. I was both Sensitive Tan and Blue! And I must say it truly reflects me. :)

Ever feel rejected? Well I have, plenty of times but those were the years. My adolescence years to be precise where things were just flowers and bees. I miss those years of running after boys I liked. Acting quite ditsy around them sometimes. Just staring at them afar hoping they'll notice me.

And I feel it's happening again this time around. Minus the whole acting ditsy of course because I know how old I am. If people know me then they will know how hard it is for me to tell the boy I have the hots for how I feel. As I said it's happening and I have no idea how to like tell this boy. It's hard for me! I mean I am an approachable person and once people know me I'm a very cheerful person. I get close to people really easily and I get acquainted to them quite easily too. When it comes to this guy, I feel helpless. I can't speak properly to him, I start to act weird around him. Or even worse sometimes I totally ignore him. We know each other because well we are I suppose friends. There are times where we'd exchange greetings but most of them I just plain totally ignore him. Very the opposite right?

I guess I'm just afraid of rejection. And the whole 'what ifs' keep on playing in my head.

Been thinking about the father lately. I guess I just really really miss him at moments like these. I just simply miss presence and his stupid jokes sometimes. He rarely makes jokes but when he does.. they're just plain stupid. I think I have inherited some of his personality. We are very quiet people around people we don't know. Images of JPMC especially the week before he passed, I'd push his wheelchair to the common ward so he'd get his antibiotic injected into his body. I'd push him like how I'd push a supermarket trolley and he didn't make a fuss out of it. I think during the three weeks were the closest I've ever felt to him. He was the only male role model I ever had. And now I have no one! I feel lonely...

Oh I just felt like sharing this picture of the three of us. I love the angle and our actions. It captured the beautiful courtyard (even though in real life it's not that amazing) and it captured the three of us in our best angles. Hahah because I think I look thin even though my hand was menyuap food into my mouth.

Yes I know I've talked about donuts before but never in my life have I queued up outside a donut shop and ordered about 5 boxes of half dozen donuts and two boxes of one dozen donuts. Yes that's what we did yesterday. Amie and I and a bunch of other friends (Nita and Effa included) went to Yayasan yesterday right after our Organizational Behaviour (OB) tutorial. An 'uncle' wanted to treat us donuts after the "LIVE MSN" chat we had on paper during OB. Haha yea we were bored during OB and plus I had great people around me to do some chatting.

So yea... this so called famous donut shop was said to open around 10 am but the time was 1030 am and it wasn't even open yet. It was quarter open when we first arrived. My suggestion was to slip Effa into the store because she's small.

When the shop finally opened, we were the first ones I think to order. By the time we walked out of the shop I think half of the people still queuing were pissed at us.

And this morning, I was suppose to have a tutorial presentation. The tutor was late and I was hoping it would be canceled. I didn't do part II of the question because I was clueless how to them. My turn isn't until next week because there wasn't enough time this afternoon. :) I just realize this lecturer and tutor of mine has no sense of humor. He never laughs at things, just smile. Never the less he's a great guy!

Amie and I did our nails this afternoon. They're so pretty =) I don't usually do my nails but today it was exceptional. =P
