#356 The Musical is Back!!

Did anyone watch the Academy Awards on Monday? I absolutely loved it. It was somewhat my first time watching it, like really watching it from the red carpet up to the last bit of the awards. I absolutely loved it. Hugh Jackman did a great job as a host. Did you know he hosted the Tony Awards once? That's why he can sing... and amazingly too. I totally loved the opening performance... last last he said, "I AM WOLVERINE!!" Cute... and I absolutely adored the segment, "Musical is Back". All of them did a great job and here is the list of the songs they sang during that performance

And and, Slumdog Millionaire won Best Picture. They totally deserve the award. Jai Hoe!! hehe :)

Another thing that I absolutely loved was Natalie Portman's dress. When I saw her on the Red Carpet I was stunned. So lastnight I watched the E! Fashion Police and yaye, she is the Best Dressed Female and Best Dressed Male is Robert Downey Jr. but I can't find his picture. Sorry about that...

So feast your eyes on Natalie Portman...

#355 What a week??

This week felt so laid back but then it's on Tuesday, who knows it'll go hectic in a day or two.


It was the twin's birthday last Saturday and I hope they had a blast in Kent. :) From the sounds and news from facebook, they totally had fun.

Happy Birthday... :)

I have no class today... and I feel the boredom already. So what did I do? Had breakfast this morning with the mum. Then watched the most anticipated movie of last year and won the Golden Globes...

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE!!

It was such a great movie, it brought me to tears.

And I think I've fallen in love with this guy, Dev Patel!! :) He was just brilliant! The scene that kind of brought me into tears was the scene where their mother got killed. I think it must have been devastating if it happens in front your very eyes. It was just.... :(

The scene that made me laugh so hard was when his brother locked him inside the so called "toilet" when Amitabh Bachan's helicopter passed by. Jamal had Amitabh's picture in hand and contemplated whether to jump into the pile of poo!! hehehe... he actually ran with poo covered all over him. Classic!! *damn, can't find any picture of it online*....

But yea brilliant movie.. love love...

Ohh ohh the Grammy's were on lastnight. I absolutely enjoyed Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Keith Urban and BoyzIImen's performance. That too I can't find any pictures online. What I heard was or what I read was... the whole act was a last minute act because Rihanna and Chris Brown cancelled on the last minute. Even though it was a last minute act... it was still brilliant. :)
