YAYAPOPS!

Assalamualaikum,

I am back with good news, my dad is slowly recovering and he's able to eat and sit now which is really good news. The doctor only took out the ventilator (the one that supports his breathing) yesterday morning and he was able to eat lastnight. His recovery is slower than other people because the surgery was too sudden for him so I assume his other organs are kind of shocked by the surgery. But above all he's slowly recovering which makes me happy and less worry about him.

Thank you everyone for the prayers and the visits to the hospital, on the night of the surgery itself and the days after that. Some of my friends came just to accompany me because I was kind of lonely at the hospital. Hospitals make me tired like seriously but the hospital in which my dad is admitted is the best one in Brunei. I actually like it since the hospital is clean and all.

Jo's parents came this afternoon with a big basket of flowers and fruits. And now the flowers are settling just nicely on my side table.

Ohhhhhhhhhh TAUFIK BATISAH!!! is in BRUNEI!! And I can't see him... it's like I'm in the same country as he is and I haven't even bumped into him!! It's bugging me like seriously. Like see I think I'm in love with this guy... I think I am! It's sad but true... ARGHHH

ohh well... more updates soon!

p.s. it bugs me as well that two job offers came when I am in this situation. One of them is volunteering for the Royal wedding... AKK's wedding... and the other one is next month in which I think I'll take up since the pay sounds really good. :)

My dad had to undergo open heart surgery yesterday evening around 6 since three of his arteries are blocked. One of them was 100 % blocked while the other two were 90% and 80%. The operation lasted for about 7-8 hours I think because we only talked to the doctor around 4ish this morning. I haven't been sleeping well and I'm getting all dizzy and erh...

I'm only at home for a bit to get some rest because even though we're at the hospital we won't be able to do anything since my dad is still having his rest and he can't talk to us yet since the tube is still in his mouth. Went to see him this morning though and he was looking better not pale or anything.

Lastnight most of my friends and family came to donate their blood since the blood bank said they are afraid they might not have enough. So I called most of the friends and most of them came and donated their blood. I couldn't donate my blood even though it's the same as my dads because my blood count is low. Amie did donate her blood... :) Thanx babe for coming and being there for me. Billy, Kalai, Razan, Mawi and Siang came as well... :).

Well I better get my rest... thank you for the prayers and everything. I have no idea how to repay them. Thank You again!! :)

HAPPY 21st Birthday to a friend whom I knew from blogging!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYAFIQUE! I should have wished you yesterday (16/5) but I just got back a few minutes ago from the hospital.

My dad got admitted into the hospital this evening. He said he was getting gastric pains since last Sunday but he thought it was just minor pain but this evening around 8ish when I got back home from watching Spiderman 3, he said the pain was getting worse. So my mom told him to go to the hospital and we did... well the nurses did an ECG and found something weird with his heart rate, therefore he needs to be monitored until the pain disappears and his heart rate stabilizes.

And I'm really sleepy!! well.. that's all. Do pray for my dad. I hope everything goes well and he doesn't have to be at the hospital for a long time. I don't like hospitals... it's a dreadful place! Erm...

So today is the international celebration for mothers' day! Yipee... I love mothers' day and I think I'll probably love it more when I become a mom one day :)

So yea went out this morning with the parents and I have no idea why I splurged on t-shirts this morning. Erm... it's like I still have more shirts that I haven't wear from Singapore. Erm... maybe it's one of the therapy for exams! heheh I so can't wait for Tuesday since it's going to be my last serious paper and on Saturday it's going to be French! Argh... but I'm happy.

I know someone's birthday is next week... but I can't remember whether it's 16th or 17th... so to that person if you do come by... do tell me the precise date! I don't want to wish you a day before or later.

Abang's birthday is in 2 weeks time I think and I have not seen him in ages. Erm...

I know this post is useless! Erh...

You're probably one of those people who I've grown to like even though I don't know you personally. Through your writings I found inspiration and through your stories about life makes me want to be what I really want to be. You are one person who knows what you want to achieve (through your writings that is).

Oh well it's your decision to shut down and hope you will come back and write more because I'm sure going to miss it. :(

Good luck with everything that you wish to do in the future. And I think you might be having exams as well right. Well then.. good luck with that as well. Keep on writing and I wish to see your name one day if not in magazines but on a book.
